So yes, cheryl had her 21st bday party today (tho her bday was last sunday) and the theme was CARNIVAL! so we had to come dressed for it. =) so here are the pics i took..

james bond sucks

ugh, just watched Quantum of Solace today w bestie.. it sucks!! i highly recommend you DONT watch it.
ok, the action sequences are definitely well filmed and carried out.. if you're a fan of car chases and heartpounding daredevil action, this movie will definitely satisfy your cravings. There are chase scenes on all land, air and sea!

i can imagine their stunt directors brainstorming:

A: hmm, so what crazy stunt haven't we done?
B: have we done the leap from roof to roof thing?
A: yup, we even have them leaping from alot of roofs.
B: ok how about the car-gets-smashed-amillion-times-but-james-bond-still-gets-away-in-one-piece stunt?
A: it's there! just like in all our other movies
B: did you remember the falling through glass without getting scratched stunt?
A: yes, that was somewhere in the middle
B: how about james bond outflying a fighter pilot in a 747 with a passenger plane?
A: yes, we included that
B: ok, sounds good!

action aside, i had no idea what was going on most of the movie. sure, i see him break into a hotel room and kill some fella after a small fight. but why ? what is he doing? i've no idea!
i dont know if it's meant to be a continuation of the previous james bond which i didn't watch, but i seriously had no clue of the plot, besides the underlying plot of jamesbond and the girl seeking revenge.


anw, i <3 my bestie, she's so nice. i had to go to airport to take a look ahead of my deployment next week.. kinda like familiarize myself with the place la. then.. after some persuasion she agreed to accompany me there =)
