(ok i must forewarn you i'm quite tired as i'm writing this so i may crap alot cos when i'm tired i get high and when i'm high i write nonsense. so yea. enjoy)
My job assignment at IBM was last week, and this week i have a one week break, then i go back for another 2 (and now maybe 3, cos of bestie, more on that later, if i remember)
So I was thinking, i have to enjoy this week, since it's my break. then back to worrkkkk. not that work is hard or anything, on the contrary, it's ultislack, but oh well, it's still waking up before 7am every morning and having less than 4 hours of computer time (leisure computer time, not work computer time) .
So, i started planning activities for this week. And somehow, i managed to line up something for each day!
Monday
Was very last minute, but arranged to meet chris in the late morning for basketball! lolol. and i cycled there! shiok, i pedaled harder and faster to get more workout cos i knew i wasn't gonna get much workout from basketball.
Ended up shooting for a very short while with her, play around abit, then went to eat lunch. hahaha ok 'play around abit' sounds wrong but WHO CARES. i'm tired.
Yup yup. time with bestie is always good and fun. went home after that to download LOST FINALE. which was, well, covered in the previous post so i won't talk about it.
Tuesday
Met bestie (who is chris btw, if you're some noob who doesn't know me or doesn't read my blog) to go try 'Wo Ai Taimei', this shop recommended by a colleague.
It's a Bugis Street, and sells those Taiwan Street snacks kinda stuff like fried chicken cutlet, etc.
I bought the BBQ chicken cutlet (which wasn't THAT fantastic.. just ok ok.) and the fries.
hahaha shiok right.
Sorry ah this picture i purposely put big big so you can drool. The rest i'll put smaller k so all you people without 21" monitor like me can view properly HA.
I know it looks super unhealthy and all cos of the supposed MSG.. but the seasoning is not the same as Mcdonalds one, taste less MSG-ish, and more authentic seaweedish. So it was damn shiok. Problem was it was abit small. so. :(
But look at how thickly coated it was :D
We watched 'The Losers", which was such a shitty movie I'm not going to bother writing about it. Weak plot, weak acting, weak everything. But the funny thing was when i went to the box office staff to purchase the tickets i was like:
"Hi, 2 tickets for The Losers..."
the moment i said that i realised it sounded wrong. hahah. the counter staff i think hear this alot of times already so not funny anymore.
Then before (and after) the movie me and chris went arcade to play abit. cos got time to burn (and money) We played the basketball game:
The one on the left is bestie's one.. yes yes she beat me on our first game. i keep overshooting.
Subsequent game i win her la, i reach last stage she died at level 2 or something.
Ok sorry no more pics of this outing cos bestie is very camera shy so our outings usually no pictures.
On a similar note, the passport photo she submitted for NUS looked really terrible i hope it's not really a student card otherwise.. she'll regret . hahahaha
Wednesday
Went running at ECP! With shinster.
We met at Marine Parade Library which i swear is the WORST LIBRARY IN THE WORLD. Ok no not world probably just in Singapore. And i guess 'worst library' is not entirely accurate because the measure of a library is.. i dont know how also.
BUT BUT. let's say a measure of a library is the quietness of it. Not that bad right, since people go there to read and study.
IT WAS FKKKKING NOISYY!!!
There's this cafe-like place on the first level, and the 2nd level kinda overlooks the first level with a balcony kinda thing. Like you lean over the railing you can peek into the cafe place.
And the thing is, the cafe sells some fruit juice or some smoothie or SOME NONSENSE THAT USES A FREAKING BLENDER.
So like, every 5 minutes there's a WRRwrwrWRWRWRwrWRWRWR sound blasting through the entire freaking library.
damn ridiculous can!! i was trying to do math but the annoying noise was very distracting.
Ok anyway back to the run. We ran like from somewhere along ECP at some grass patch , one loop past the chalets, and back. Supposedly around 3km but it felt more like 2km+ .
And somehow i had the strength in me to.. run faster than shinster. haha.
The start was damn terrible.. yknow how the starting 5 minutes of a run is the worse part, cos your lungs and everything needs to get used to the exertion and used to pumping oxygen around your body. But once you cross this invisible line you shift into a more comfortable gear and running isn't as tiring.. till whenever la.
Then right, when we JUST started running, we ran into some chemical bombing site or something.
Ok maybe not chemical bombing but got like super strong pesticide.. and even when we ran past it there was some badly smelling nonsense that made breathing difficult.
Buttttt i somehow conquered that part and got into the comfortable gear and I could run faster than her haha. otherwise MALU.
Then after that we went Ajisen to eat, yummy. But damn ex can. my wallet feels lighter.
Thursday
I originally had this day scheduled to just chill at home and watch shows / do some math .. but something happened with qin and she was sian and wanted to go out so i went out to pei her.
SUCHA good friend right.
ok anyway, i brought her to eat the yummy grilled chicken from PS Food court (must eat!! it's damn shiok i tell you. the sauce for the chicken just makes you melt in your seat and the coconut rice is damn fragrant and nice. )
And then we watched Prince of Persia.
Which, tbh (this means 'to be honest) SUCKS. Like, i don't know what i was expecting.. but yea the plot was quite choppy and there was a major plot jump (lol kinda like a pun) where:

after the uncle plunged the dagger into the sands of time hourglass, wasn't it supposed to unleash the powers of heaven or something and destroy the world? how come it miraculously reversed time to that moment where they just 'captured' the city? Super huge plot jump la wth.
There weren't many funny lines either, it's like those which made the audience stifle a giggle weren't really that funny. Not like Ironman /Ipman2 which were really good. (Ironman2 has ALOT of funny lines btw, just that they talk really fast and with their accents, you probably didn't catch half of it. But with my training in listening to western accents i caught all of it)
ok yea then home home.

Friday
Went Pulau Ubin to cycle!!
ok the main reason why i decided to go was because i still had a headache and i didn't want to stay at home cos if i do then i sure stare at the computer for very long and then make it worse.
My first time there! Yup. I didn't go there before for OBS or whatever reason you may have to go there.
On the way to Ubin in the boat! carmen was next to me so grabbed her for a pic.

I do not know why my hair is aflutter..... I couldn't see this photo cos the sun was really bright so i couldnt see anything on my phone.. i only just saw it was like this when i opened it with my computer.

My bike really sucked la!! First bike i took it felt like i was pedaling air so i went to swap it. Then it was this super high resistance one.. i have to put it alot of effort to pedal it and it sounded like it was going to break apart any moment.
And no it wasn't a gear problem i tried switching it already.
