an uneventful christmas

the bigger the hopes, the bigger the disappointment?

This self-coined proverb rings through this christmas.

I don't know what i was really expecting.. a bomb? a huuuge party? some unknown hot girl to make friends with me? i save someone from a car accident? a big fire?
but nothing happened this year.

we went caroling at gareth's/angel's house.. which were both loong walks. then was quite sian cos i had noone really to pei me. like noone to walk with, noone to really talk to. so i was just like a floating person, randomly finding cliques to penetrate and talk.

but well, the games when we came back from caroling WERE pretty fun. good job 18yearolds =)
but really la, i psyched myself to have fun. at first i had really no mood, cos of one particular reason. then i didnt wanna play. then yvon persuaded me to join in so.. i shifted mindset lor. then i just tried to be .. enthu and stuff. enjoyed myself much better that way rather than be emomeemo.

apart from tabletennis and capteh, i was really bored! nothing to do sia. i wasn't really in the mood for tekan games (they were playign 'ring of fire', some card game, which involves drinking alot of water if you lose and blabla.)
was feeling kinda emo cos of something, so i asked bestie if she was free to chat.. and tho she was going to sleep she agreed to talk on the phone for awhile! so i poured out my soul to her hahaha.
thank god for bestie. i really dont know how people survive without best friends.=)

anw, i have quite a few pictures, but i dont wanna post yet, i wanna get the rest from weilyn/lydia's camera before uploading all.
just 2 pics of my lovely espirit outfit =) haha. so happy at least ONE person commented about it. yvonne said 'nice shirt!' hahaha. fine it couldve just been a passing comment which she din really mean but.. oh well.



oh oh the silver skinny tie is from lydia!! eh she's damn sweet la. cos on sunday or sth i was randomly asking ppl where to buy skinny tie cos i wanted it to complete my outfit for christmas service. i didnt manage to find it in the end.

then i didnt recall asking alot of ppl, so in my memory i only asked bestie.
then lydia suddenly surprised me with the tie!! i was really quite touched la =) thanks lydia!!

4 more days to christmas

whee. christmas has always been a magical time of the year.. something significant always happens. this year round.. i dont know what can happen given there isnt much possibility.. but i guess we'll see.

2007 - first kiss was 1 day after xmas =)

2006 - CCIS ! xmas musical was hella fun!

2005 - something officially ended here. it's kinda personal so i dont want to blog it up, you can ask me about it if you wanna know.

2004 - bestie said that i was her best friend ever. haha. at that point of time we were just really good/close friends.


alright, ill end off with a video i took today, twins +jonchoo performing in church. danchoo told me to record one. so . record loh.

ah, my faith in movies has been restored.

after a looong run of not watching any GOOD movie (past 3 movies i've watched were Twilight, HSM3 and Connected. Well ok HSM3 wasn't BAD, it just was quite.. predictable. and not exactly a very good movie anw, it's just for the songs) i finally watched a good movie!!

Yes Man!! starring jim carrey =)

It's basically about this guy who has a negative attitude to life and hence is stuck in his same job position for a long time, cant find a gf, etc etc. then one day he goes for a seminar by some guy and changes his old attitude - he must always say 'Yes' to everything.
which results in a hilarious sequence of events Jim Carrey style =)

The show has plenty of LOL moments, where the whole cinema will just erupt in laughter. Jim carrey carries (haha) the show well with his comical performance, and even if the script wasn't well written (it was =) ) he could probably have made the show good anyway.

So yeS! do check it out. yes Man in cinemas now =)


on a completely random note, i just spent 150+ dollars :(
no, not on xmas presents. i bought myself my xmas outfit.. a top and a jeans from espirit =) a pair of jeans i mean. ugh bad english. haha yes so.. ouch my moneyyy.
