ok this happened several weeks back actually but i never had the chance to blog about it.
Anw, i placed my first ever mcdelivery order! nono, not the first time i order macs, but the first time i actually place the order myself. usually it's someone else make the call then i just say 'eh i want dbl cheeseburger' or something ma.
it was in camp and one night we (or rather I ) decided to order macs. so i asked around..
and guess what, it was a hugeee, complicated order. here, i still have it written down:
2 Mcspicy meal upsize
1 mcspicy meal upsize, no lettuce, milo for drink
2 dbl cheese burger
3 filet o fish meals, milo/coke/icelemontea for drinks respectively
filet o fish extra tartar sauce, milo for drink
big mac meal,milo for drink
milo drink
freaking fussy right my friends! walao what extra tartar sauce.. no lettuce.. etc. make my order difficult. ok but the thing i'm complaining about isn't this. so i call up and place the order very clearly and well, and the lady had to repeat the whole thing 2-3 times cos i scared she get it wrong.
ok finish. the phone call took
11 minutes!! $$ my money. anyway. they said it would be latest 9.30pm. (it was 8.30++ or so)
so we waited till about 9.. then suddenly i got a call again, from them.
"Er sorry sir, due to the large volume of orders we've got and yours being one of the big orders, it can only come around 1030pm. do you still want it?"
WTH!@#$%$^*.
because the next day i (and others) had to wake up v early, at like 4am, so i wanted to sleep early. so i didnt want, but i had to run all around the place confirming if ppl still wanted. in the end, the general consensus was no, cancel the order.
So when he called back i said 'no , cancel the whole thing, ktnxbai'.
(k fine i didnt say ktnxbai but it looks cool)
THEN.He calls me again 5 minutes later "erm sorry, i jus spoke with my manager, apparently your order was one of the first few that came in tonight and the order is actually out with the rider already, and he's been waiting for the manager to dispatch him."
go and die la!! i already tell everyone cancel. in the end since they say it can be delivered in 5-10 minutes, i told them ok. (otherwise they throw away all that food meh) . so we had macs that night.
but what's with this inefficiency and inaccurate information! i should have just cancelled the order to teach them a lesson. tho that would be dumb cos i no more mcspicy. but still. give a timing must meet it ma, how can cos too busy then cannot make it (1 hour later somemore) but actually can make it but never clarify properly then call customer already.
