ahhh. as i sit in the comfort of my computer chair, adrenaline level still fairly high, boasting cuts and scrapes on my arms and legs.. i can only smile and think back about today's games.
okok let's start from the basics. Basically this was a 3v3 competition, 7 minute game, team that scores most points win, if both teams are level then draw. If you score, opponent gets to start ball. 2 free throws if you're fouled on shot attempt, 1 FT if u score after ure fouled.
Normal field goal (shoot, layup bla) worth 2 points, 3 point is 3, freethrow(FT) is 1.
OK. So we reach there very early like 5+ , then 6+ then they had some opening briefing. Then after that we got our schedule, first match at 8 -_- so we went to the nearby prata shop and ate :p only 2 teams went to eat haha.
OK FIRST GAME. ok wait our team was me, gabriel, joel, tianen and alwyn (my sch friend) (the rest from my church)
Me, alwyn and tianen started. I'll just say what i remember la ok.
The guy i was marking was too fast for me, then i let him run free several times. Then got one possession he completely qie past me, but i blocked him on his layup attempt :p yayness.
Then i managed to draw a foul, and i made both free throws! =) yayness.
Think i missed 1-2 shots also. Then my friend scored from shots.
THEN.. we were up by 4 points.. then they just got a foul-in (means 2 points for the basket and they get to shoot 1 FT) . Then at that time gabs just subbed in, so i was still a little blur blur. Then the guy shoot i was still stoning and the guy next to me dashed in got the rebound and scored -_- zzz. with that 4point play they tied the game.. and played awhile more but ended in draw.
AHHH I MADE US DRAW :(
(oh this game had a stupid incident also, gabs caught the rebound then i swiped the ball out of his hand. lol. i didnt really see i thought was opponent so i just swiped. ugh)
ok nvm 2nd game i didnt start, joel tianen gabs started. Then gabs made some nice shots (2) and joel also shot some. Tianen dunno why also wanna shoot then miss haha (he not shooter more of an inside player)
Then halfway gabs shack then ask me sub in.. i was sitting down then caught unaware sia so had to get myself heated up as i ran in.
This game i also got fouled on the way to the basket, then i made 1/2 FT.
Then on the last possession, score was tied and they had the ball.. then TIANEN pressured the ball handler then he made a lousy pass with i intercepted. Then i quickly qie in and i saw joel open so i bounce pass to him.. and he scored!! yayynessss!!! we win!
THIRD GAME. i started this one, against a fairly aggressive team.
We were down 6-0 from the start i think, then alwyn made two 3-pointers and we were even ! :)
Then i made one nice move, i got the ball, faked my man then he jumped and so i qie past him, there was a guy in front of me but i think he scared foul or sth so he didnt move. So i just jumped up and lay the ball in =D wootwoot only field goal.
Then i got another 2 FT, again 1/2.
So the other team losing already.. so they pressured and stepped up defence. Then cos i cannot really dribble the ball well. Then made some bad passes. Then like we start from outside.. my team never run free so i dunno who to pass. So i throw in then kena stolen :S
After another bad pass after getting harassed by my defender, i asked to be subbed out, otherwise we no momentum and i demoralised ma.
Then last ball i think joel caught the rebound and scored and WE WON!!!
heheheeee. Ok so we qualify for the cup playoffs.. basically one group 4 teams, top 2 go to cup playoffs, bottom 2 go to plate playoffs. hope i can shoot better on Thursday (i scored 0 shots today, only field goal was the layup. Made 4 points from FT though)
ohoh, and a funny thing - our team because have no team name, so by default our name was the captain's name. and i was the captain. =X lol so yea we were Team Alan. :p hahaha.

it is time.
hmm is anyone getting random popups from my blog? for me everytime i load the page some popup wil appear and once or twice my antivirus says got threat then will delete it. :S How to remove ah why is this shit popup around.
anyway first of all, thanks all that replied to my previous entry!! haha ok the final poem which i think makes the most sense and sounds the most correct is :
Itsy bitsy spider, climbing up the spout
Down came the rain and washed the spider out
Up came the sun and dried up all the rain
And itsy bitsy spider, climbed up the spout again.
=)
Ok im suppsoed to study now but my STUPID NEIGHBOURS are removing their wall or sth they put some notice saying tues and wed afternoon will be noisy. And now the drilling and drilling is damn damnd amn annoying. GRNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
Later got basketball competition at 6pm! :D very very excited have been thinking about it the whole day. Hope i can play well later :) hope i can chopchopchop score alot :p heeheeeeeee

itsy bitsy spider
yawn.
now @ 9:27... the guys at church camp probably having.. group discussion or something. Yea. then after that they're gonna go back to their nice hotel rooms.. have a shower maybe. and sleep. dang so weird to be not at camp and everyone's gone.
anyway, i went for my cousin's wedding today (the main reason why i didnt go for camp) @ Marriot Hotel. The first part of the programme was GOSPEL MESSAGE and there was like prayer and stuff...
Apparently my cousin's church they all talk like KJV ' i pray thy will will carry thy name to thine forth and . . ' . So that was how the person who prayed before the solemnization spoke. And the prayer was like one of those dontyouwishitendssoon prayers that is just SLOW (like 3-4 words at a time) and looooong.
Then came the message..ZOMG. He started off in the worse way possible : "This message will take .. twenty minutes" -CUE SIGH/GASPS- (im serious i could hear abit of this) "so.. let me carry on"
And the bad thing is HIS ENGLISH IS QUITE BAD.
"the lady was doing this. in another words, she meant that .. . "
WTHH!?! (there are more examples of bad english but im lazy to think of them , this was just the most glaring one)
And the whole thing was just really really boring i think half the ballroom was asleep and the other half was whispering to themselves.
Hmm and he told the story about Jesus going to meet the woman who was drawing water from the well. Then he says alot of irrelevant stuff like 'oh the woman went to draw water at noon, which is a weird time to draw water at. at noon the sun is usually quite hot (DUH) and so, it was unusual'
?!?!?!
And one thing i didnt get was .. yknow in the story the woman says she has no husband or sth lidat. then Jesus says 'you are right, you have 5 husbands and the one u are living with is not ur husband'.
Then the speaker said 'Jesus was being gracious when he pointed this out'.
?!?!?!?!? Does this not make sense or does this not make sense. So what.. he was being gracious by not.. killing the woman? :S i dont geddit. Then straight away after this he goes on to something else and doesnt explain much about his 'gracious' comment.
Anyway besides the lousy message , everything else was.. average. Besides the roast chicken which i swear is the best roast chicken i ever ate in my life, everything else was just sub-par.
THEN. remember my previous post i mentioned something about a nursery rhyme which i couldnt finish? And i forgot what it was? Well i was on my way home on a train.. and this little kid was making alot of noise. I was a little annoyed at first, then i realised he was chanting some nursery rhyme
