random rant

i dont quite know what i'm going to say but i'm just gonna randomly rant about stuff cos i wanna rant.

firstly, i dont get why on earth people can be 30-45 minutes late for an appointment. 5-15 minutes i GUESS it's excusable, for reasons such as the bus taking very long to come, missing the bus, etc. but 30 minutes?!?
Seriously, i don't think one's time approximation can be THAT bad, you should be able to roughly estimate how to get to a place unless you've never ever been there before (in that case you should try to go earlier since you may get lost)
If you have to go to, say, Town (dhobygaut/cityhall), from say.. serangoon, and you live 10 minutes away from the MRT, you should estimate about 20+ minutes to reach town?

Then why are some people still leaving house at 3.25PM when meeting time is 3.30PM!??!
seriously!! get prepared earlier or something. it's ridiculous to start getting ready at 3.15 when you should already leave house at 3.10 -_-

(the examples used are completely randomed, in case you were wondering)

Anyway this morning i was quite frustrated with DOMinic. He was the sound man for worship, and the prearranged time to meet was 7.45AM. and well, sound man is pretty impt cos he has to set up the mikes and everything and soundcheck adjust volume blabla. and the reason we were coming early in the first place was for him to get everything done.
Then the WHOLE worship team was there by 7.50. but DOM? no . not a sign till 8.15 -_- (worship starts at 8.25/30)

What was his excuse ? 'i had a breakfast appointment la!!' which was with 1 guy 2 girls but i'm pretty sure he was so late cos of the 2 girls but that's not the point.
Breakfast appointment so what!?? you had a duty to come at 7.45 so you should have left early or something to settle it. srsly. -_- and the way he said it (he repeated it like 2-3 times) was indicating that his 'breakfast appointment' had WAAAY precedence over coming to church on time to set up all the sound stuff blabla.

ok i think i actually had more to say but i'm pretty tired now suddenly dunno why so lazy to type more. oh ya, if anyone is doing anything this week please ask me!! mahjong/go out / whatevernonsense. askask.
