a day with bestie

went town to shop with bestie today! well actually it's just to buy things for myself, but .. we basically arranged to go out today then dunno what to do, so i suggested to shop loh. wow yes a guy suggesting to shop. me, nonetheless (i dont like shopping)

Wa i met like.. 4 ppl in total that i know? Before i met chris, saw joshsam. Then saw winsome with her boyfriends. (TSKTSK) Then met weiqin and her frens. Then at cine later on in the day i met some school people.

ok after some futile walking around in PS, we went to Far East Plaza cos chris said there the things cheaper. When we reached there.. it was like 95% girls shops?! But after walking around abit, found some guys shop at the 4th floor or somewhere there. But didn't see anything i wanted. Was looking for prom outfit.

Then we went into this shop which had jackets+shirt inside. I was idly fiddling with it then the salesgirl came over and asked 'are you shopping for prom?'
how intelligent!
so i murmured yea, and she told me of some special discount they were having for that day, jacket+shirt = $100. being the trained salesperson she was, she painted a pretty rosy picture of how much of a bargain it was. and well.. yea it did sound pretty good, since jacket = 80 and shirt = 50 so it's like $30 discount.

Ok the point of saying all this is not about the clothes, but to talk about the salesgirl! she was like.. maybe 20? around that age yea. she looks like the typical ahlian - brownish hair, ahlian face, ahlian clothes, complete with a tattoo on her shoulder! It said 'Hu' ('Tiger' in Chinese) fierce! She was rather pretty but her complexion was quite bad, but she masked it really really well with makeup. Like from far away definitely can't tell her complexion is bad.
but but but, she's REALLY nice can! She spoke in pretty good English insteAdx oF de tYpiCal aH LiAnZzs speAkxz w0Rzx, and she was really kind and demure-sounding. Then when i went to try on an outfit she came and give some fashion advice like the different ways i can wear it and stuff.

Then what won me over was when i was asking how to match a bottom to the top i was trying out ( a jacket + shirt), like issit wear jeans or what. Then she asked if i had black pants/jeans at home or something, and where i was going. i said yes i did, and im going maritus mandarin hotel (the one next to Cineleisure)
Then she was like.. 'oh! wa that hotel quite high class, i think you wear your that black pants better. dont need to buy jeans or anything la.' in a way dissuading me from buying the pile of jeans right in front of us.

Where got saleslady lidat one! persuade people not to buy from their shop. haha. I wanted to say something teasing her about that but it didn't come out right so we never really laughed. as in i wasnt very coherent when i said it i think.
Yup so i decided to buy from them since it was a bargain (which my mom insists is not when i told her about it) and the salesgirl was so kind and nice.


After thaaat.. we headed over to play pool at cine! wow i totallly rocked today. i made all the shots which i would usually miss, such as those long shots. i think i played better (than yesterday) cos i corrected a bridging error i was making. yea, totally thrashed chris :p
But she 'won' the last game cos on my last black ball, i accidentally jumped the white ball and after hitting the black in the white ball sailed off the table. so. counted as i lose =X

mm, ate at subway after that. had that for lunch too. im eating subway alot. cos im sick and cant hit fried stuff. DAMMIT I HATE THIS COUGH. it's highly irritating.

okk. so yea i settled my prom outfit in one day. haha. manda was saying that 2 weeks wasn't enough to shop for prom dress (prom is 2 weeks after exams ended). sad girls. :p


wow what a long journal-y blog. ok off to watch heroes =) really fast buffering suddenly! yay
