*not a continuation of 'a metaphorical story (1)'*
Francis inched closer on the couch.
The television continued flickering, showing a movie that Francis had long forgotten about. All his thoughts were focussed on Sherry, the girl of his dreams. She was just sitting next to him, seemingly watching the movie as well.
Her soft hand lay upturned on the seat of the sofa, in between the two of them. This looked like an invitation to Francis, so he similarly placed his hand carelessly near hers. The scene changes. Francis pays little notice, only noting the different animal characters running across the screen.
Suddenly, there was contact. Not the most definite, but there was contact. Finger against finger, hair against hair, whatever it was, there was the slightest minimal contact. Neither flinched, but instead their hands started to overlap. Within seconds their hands were clasped, interlocked in a symbol of unity.
A warm feeling of accomplishment emeated through Francis' body. His face flushed red; he didnt know where to look. It seemed too bold to just look at her at that moment but the pictures of the screen did not register anything in his head. All he could think of was all the dreams he's had about Sherry in the past few months, all the wishes and hopes he had pinned on this relationship. And all this was finally fulfilled, with the simple act of held hands on a couch, on an afternoon of what was supposed to be for watching a movie.
After the show, both went into Sherry's room. Her mother and younger brother were at home, and they were both upright and moral people, so nothing sexual would arise from this. She went to sit at her computer. He joined her, sitting on the stool next to her.
After some idle clicking, she pulled his arm around her back, placing it onto her hip. Francis was stunned - such audacity! And they were not even alone in the house. He was afraid and apprehensive, and quickly pulled his hand away.
After some random clicks on the computer, she grabbed his hand and put it on her hip again. This time, Francis boldly left it there for a few moments, then again pulled his hand back. 'Do i dare do this with mother and sibling at home and the door wide open for all to see!?'
Once again, she pulled his hand across her back defiantly and placed it snugly on her hip. This time, he left it there, and enjoyed the secure grasp he had around her, and leant closer to her and felt her warmth.
Both pretended none of this was happening, and continued talking normally, discussing about some conversation she was having online. His other hand subtlely snuck out and planted itself on her exposed lap - she was wearing a pair of short shorts. He playfully started stroking her lap, and she did not flinch nor fidget, but instead seemed to enjoy the moment with a smile creeping across her face. His hand gently caressed her lap, like one would do to a kitten.
After some time, the time had come for him to leave - it was getting late. They said their goodbyes and left - both not mentioning anything about a new relationship and pretended they were still just normal friends.
Little was he to know that that was the biggest mistake he had made in his life. Sherry never talked to Francis again for several months, for reasons that are unknown. Francis was crushed, dejected and depressed. His heart was broken to more than a million pieces, which even if mended, would always leaving a void where Sherry used to occupy.
The End.

magic journal 7 - i pwned my teacher
Ah hah. long time since i blogged this series of magic journals. but today have something funny happen =)
Well some of you may know some may not, but lately i've been practising the Coin Roll. It's simply rolling a coin across your fingers. Ugh hard to describe hang on i go make a video.
Ok here's a short 30 second video of me doing some coin rolls. (still sloppy :S)
[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LV7BcxjH3EI]
The world record for this is like 40 coin rolls in one minute -_- And the official rules are that the coin cannot skip any fingers, and you cannot drop the coin. (drop = restart) I use my own customized rules, cannot skip any fingers, drop the coin = not counted. Too hard if have to restart.. it's crazy. My personal best is 20. rawr. must improve.
Anyway the funny thing was that today in GP class i was just subconsciously doing coin rolls (yknow like we spin pens also) during some class discussion. Then the teacher was walking around then she saw me doing that so she was like 'alan keep the coin!'
Then after protesting a little bit (i always disturb this teacher one :p )then i 'Ok!'
Then i did a simple coin vanish - i placed the coin on the desk, rubbed it abit, then it disappeared.
Then she was like 'WHERE IS IT!?' hahaha then i just shrug and said 'disappeared'.
=D =D
The moment was priceless - she proceeded to walk over then lift up my pencil case.. look at my desk carefully.. look at the floor.. but no coin =) =D =) hahahah i was just sitting there smirking then when she gave up looking then ask me again 'where is it!?' then i purposely change subject 'So erm a civil service is better for the democratic society.. blabla'
=D
I MUST learn more of these impromptu tricks with everyday objects =)

Econs project
argh, sunday worship was screwed up. Firstly the fill was crappy did some simple one which i dont even think i hit -- and the thing is that i couldnt hear daniel at all for the first two songs. Only his voice actually, not his guitar.
So my beat was pretty off for much of the fast song (your love is amazing) , i could TELL i was off too cos i couldnt hear him properly and didn't know what to play.
Had to signal to the sound crew after the song, then they finally switched on his guitar too -_- screwed up system.
Anyway, here's a project me and some friends did for Econs. If you dont take econs you wont understand at all, even if you do it may be a little boring cos it aint THAT interesting.
The super super funny thing which had us rolling on the floor laughing was that.. ok you watch already then scroll down and read.
The funny thing is that.. you know at the last part i tore that paper. Well, we actually used the back of my friend's math worksheet, and i TOTALLY forgot what it was, then in the middle of the video i decided to improvise.. cos pay debt already mah, so i tore it for effect.
Then my friend narrating started laughing then the cameraman (his worksheet) still filming didnt know why. only after we 'cut' then we all realised what just happened and started laughing ^^
Ok maybe you dont think it's funny cos u werent there but it was damn funny!!! i still laugh abit when i watch that part of the video =)
And editting the video was damn troublesome man. The hardest part was dealing with windowsmoviemaker hanging every 5 minutes. Had to keep saving to ensure the file wasn't lost. For the song i used another media editting software to bring up and down the volume at the appropriate times. rawr.
heh ok bye.
