Met up with bestie for dinner yesterday at vivo.. and also cut my hair!

omg i'm damn sad! my hair super short now :( and it's not nice!! i don't know why he cut until so short. next time i have to state specifically I DONT WANT IT SHORT. !@#!%^6 sigh it's like not even stylable now. so freaking short.

Anyway, we decided to try out a new place to eat (more of I wanted to =X ) , so we went to this place called King's Louis Pub and Grill. (or grill and pub i can't remember). It's like hidden in some ulu corner of vivo, next to Daiso.




The whole theme is pretty cool, like the medieval era. Even the cups are like those from that time.

I wish i had taken a picture of the place inside.. but i scared ha. like very weird. the lightning was dim, to give it like some.. olden days ambience. So dim that bestie with lao hua yan was complaining she couldn't read the menu properly ha.


And the big catch is that -- You buy 2 meals, you get the 3rd one free!! like wow! (this offer is valid from Sun-Tues) So we ordered our 3 meals:






We had 2 kebab meals, and mine was some chicken thing.


Cool right the plates. and the portions are quite big! In the end bestie couldln't finish hers and had to dabao some of her kebab. I didn't really like the kebab though, the meat was too dry and hard to swallow for me. The spices and sauce also wasn't that fantastic.

And the service wasn't really good at first? We walked in and sat down and for a good 1-2 minutes noone came to us. Until finally we signalled to the waitress and she came over.
And their waitresses are.. very noob?

It's like they had that buy 2 get 3rd free promotion, so we wanted to clarify if it was really true cos it sounded too good to be true. Then basically everything we asked, she will be like 'er let me go and ask'. Even this obvious promotion thing!

Then we were wondeirng which 2 will we pay for.. logically they'll make us pay for the 2 most expensive one right, so we just clarify it, and she told us we choose any 2 the 3rd one will be free! (which turned out to be wrong of course, we were right)

Then there was this 'free flow of soft drinks' promotion, so we asked her do we get it. And once again , she didn't know and had to go and ask. (it applied only for their 'banquet menu' which is this 66 bucks set for 2 ppl.)

And lastly, our meals supposedly came with 'either curly fries (which are basically the exact replica of Mcdonalds Twister fries) or golden wedges'. So i wanted 2 sets wedges and 1 curly fries (why do i wanna eat mcdonalds twister fries at some restaurant)... but while she went to clarify our promotion thing (if it was buy 2 get 3rd free) she already placed the order.

So... when she came back with our iced water (after we found out soft drinks were not free flow since we didn't order the banquet) i asked her about it. And she was like 'oh yea oh yea! sorry ' so i told her we wanted 2 wedges 1 fries.

But still, our meals came with all 3 curly fries -_-

anw, their young manager (i think he is, he seemed like it) came over once to ask us how was the food, so did the waitress. so i guess.. their service is OKAY ba. not good, but OK.
And i wonder what will they do if i told them that the chicken sucked. will they replace it? fire the chef? replace him? haha.

and one of the filipino waitresses was v chio! like those tv actress kind. serious! bestie told me to ask for number but of course being the shy boy i am i didn't. =X hahaha.

alright, time to enjoy my unemployed life.
