2 weeks

that's all the time i have left as a civilian before i get shipped off to defend this tinyislandofacountry. before i get my head shaved, before i start to subject my body to daily rigorous activity, before my life becomes a 2day week.

I don't dread the head shaving part. In fact that's the least of my concerns. There are so many perks! no need to style hair(or attempt to) anymore, no need comb, no need shampoo, more cooling. It just needs getting used to , which is the same for all haircuts.

It'll probably take awhile to get used to the daily exercise. I get aches after exercise (the day after) So.. having to exercise through the aches will be a .... refreshing experience =x

And come out only during weekends!!!? argh. i'll miss someone. :/

ok gtg phoneee =)

christmas

ah.

the caroling thing wasn't that bad after all. though the games part was highly messy IMO. forfeits took up too much time and were.. kinda boring . should have more games.
wow ok im damn whiny and complaining bestie was right. well i guess the organisers should be complimented for their effort put in. at least they tried right?
overall was pretty good la. i'm just glad amanda had fun =)
thanks to all those people who came to talk to her ! raylia especially. though she talked alot of nonsense too.

woo bball today on christmas was pretty fun. the ball was nice so had good grip, very nice to shoot. Made so many jumpshots (which i can only do from close and with a nice ball) =D
My favourite one was one on gabriel, where i cut right, cut left, then right again, then he was already stumbling all over then i pulled up and jumpshot over him.. CHOPP. haha. could see his sian face after that.

sigh army is in 16 days. that's.. pretty soon. all the army people already start telling me stories and preparing me mentally. though i don't like the stories. ha. i guess it's better to know what i'm gonna suffer. so.. can kinda anticipate? hope i dont get a shiong company.

i wonder how many days of 'official-ness' i'll get before army :)

oh where is the christmas spirit

this christmas, i find it hard to say 'merry christmas' and mean it. well, at least for today.

christmas seemed to zoom up so quickly, like i only realised it was coming a week ago. and.. i didn't feel any of the hype of previous years. didn't even consider getting presents or anything.
why?

1) something else on my mind
2) no christmas service in church!
Every year there'll be a christmas service where there'll be a nice speaker who comes in and gives the christmas msg and everyone is dressed up nice and we go carolling after that and whee fun fun.
This year.. no christmas service! gg! bay christmas party on sunday? the variety of food was quite.. little. chicken wing and the triangle thing. =X what's a party without (alot of) food?

well ok there is carolling tomorrow, but it's not the same when it's not after service. AND, it's sooo last minute and there seems to be no organisation at all. no musician, no song sheet... whaaat. i wonder how it's gonna turn out.

3) perhaps last year's christmas musical was so fun and memorable that the absence of any major event makes this year seem so empty.
i mean, even though i had only one line in the entire skit, i thoroughly enjoyed the practice sessions and the hanging out with the xmas crew and the waiting to perform and the putting on of stage makeup (haha) and.. everything!
like, how often do you walk through PS singing carols? (to generate publicity as it was a rainy day )

But was this year's christmas (period) memorable? for sure. =)
