rawr. went to simlim today to buy a new bluetooth dongle (the USB thing that you plug to your com so that your HP can send things to the computer and viceversa)
the old one snapped. Cos my CPU is at my feet, then the dongle sticks out, so sometimes my legs anyhow move then kick it, then at first never break, but after awhile it started to break. It was still working for awhile after it first broke abit, then i kicked it again then it completely snapped.
but i have a new one! so i'm gonna just post all the photos that i've taken . they're quite random, but.. oh well. just SPAM.
super blur pic of me john teehao. cant rem when this was taken, was around when john got his new purple phone. teehao was gonna snap a pic of me and him, then john was like 'eh why you all take pic without me' or something like that. ha.
A pretty unique skyline so i took it. The grey clouds made a very distinct line across the entire sky.
Yup, i get a good view of a soccer field from my house =) got free matches everyday. ha. sometimes they will fight one. when the referee starts blowing his whistle frantically i'll run to the window and see =)
my first ever alcoholic purchase. (and probably my only purchase)
whole face turned red after half a bottle, had a headache for the whole night after finishing it
i can't drink :(
stop laughing john.
bestie bought this for me ! when i had a cough. we met up some time during my exams to have lunch cos she wanted to pass her portable hard drive to me (ya rem that time she forgot. not tt time, after that day we did meet up eventually. ha)
and the next 2 before & after photos are before/after A levels =D

salt into wounds.
had an irritating ulcer on the right side of the tip of my tongue for 2-3 days now, really irritating cos i cant eat properly.
so a clever friend of mine suggested to put salt on it. supposedly heals faster but it stings la.
ok so i was bored and i tried it.
WOOHOO. FREAKING PAIN! hahaha. what a sensation, it stung like hell for several minutes. it takes like 5 seconds for it to kick in so it's quite cool. think ill do it tmr if i'm bored :p
anyway, rubbing salt into wounds is NOT advisable! managed to find this short writeup:

Before we get to the science part of your question, let me start by saying:
Do not put salt on your cut. The single most important aspect of wound care in the backcountry is vigorous and copious irrigation with clean water (filtered or chemically treated so it is drinkable). You can generate a high-pressure stream by filling a zip-top plastic bag with water, poking a tiny hole in a bottom corner of it with a needle, and then squeezing the bag so water comes out through the hole. For dirty wounds, vigorous scrubbing to remove foreign bodies is also important. Exposing wounds to iodine, alcohol, peroxide, and pure salt is no more effective than water irrigation at preventing infection and can potentially damage tissues. The safest way to slow bleeding is to hold direct pressure on the wound until the bleeding stops.
The reason that salt stings a cut is that as the salt dissolves, it causes the fluid surrounding damaged tissues to become extremely hypertonic (which means that the concentration of salt and other electrolytes is higher than it is in normal body fluids).
Pain-sensing neurons have receptors on them that respond to a variety of stimuli. For example, there is a specific receptor that responds vigorously to capsaicin, which is the substance that gives jalapeƱo and habanero peppers their kick. So, quite literally, when you are adding hot pepper to food, you are (carefully, I hope!) inducing the sensation of pain to complement the other flavors of the meal.
More recently identified is a receptor that responds to changes in electrolyte concentration—such as the change that a large amount of salt induces. Thus, putting salt on a wound stimulates pain-sensing neurons in much the same way hot pepper does.
When tissue is damaged, many pain receptors become sensitized—that is, they need a much lower level of stimulation to respond than they normally would. (For example, after you have burned your mouth, try eating some spicy food that you could normally handle—ouch!) Salt may then compound the pain by further damaging injured tissues and making them more sensitive in general.
